Zurich Masterclass – Post Event Interview with Jamie Anderson Available Now!
The second instalment of our 2015 Zurich Masterclass Series took place recently at the IMI Conference Centre in Sandyford.
The keynote was delivered by internationally renowned management thinker and award-winning author, Prof Jamie Anderson, to an audience of over 200 of Ireland’s leading C-Level executives. The key theme of Jamie’s address centred on the concept of ‘Lifeworking’, which confronts narrow and conventional definitions of personal success and linear thinking in relation to career progression.
Jamie talked passionately, and with a good dose of humour at times, about a way of living in which, the individual, and not the organisation, defines the meaning of success and presents a clear roadmap for meshing their life and work into an integrated existence. His thought-provoking address, challenged the prevailing ‘industrial age mind-set’ that exists in many Western world organisations in their approach to the management and retention of their top talent. He believes that organisations will be more effective in these endeavours if they seek to facilitate, rather than hamper, their top talent in redefining their own meaning of success and achieving more sustainable and mutually beneficial terms of engagement.
