During the pandemic, while work moved online, extensive research on team interactions in leading global companies revealed that the most effective teams were small, diverse, and had flat structures. Diversity fueled creativity, but only when everyone contributed equally. To test this, an AI matchmaker was developed to optimize team connections, showing that
productivity and innovation can double when the right people connect at the right time, with the right incentives. This talk delves into the research behind building smarter, more innovative teams.

Dr. Vivienne Ming wants to create better people—through technology. A theoretical neuroscientist and entrepreneur, Dr. Ming co-founded Socos Labs, which explores human potential, and was previously chief scientist at the innovative startup Gild. Along with developing AI-driven solutions for social impact, i.e. gender, workplace inclusion, and diabetes treatment, Dr. Ming offers data-driven strategies for creating high-performance environments.
