IMI once again Ireland’s only globally ranked provider of customised executive education.

Monday May 12, 2014: The Irish Management Institute (IMI) has once again maintained its position as the only business school in Ireland to be globally ranked among international providers of Customised Executive Education in this year’s Financial Times (FT) Global Rankings.

Today’s rankings confirms IMI’s place for the sixth year in succession among the top global providers of uniquely tailored, company-specific executive education.   IMI’s customised programmes accelerate client business growth by delivering enhanced levels of management capability.

“We are delighted that IMI has retained this important global ranking.  Having a world class learning provider based in Ireland is important for Ireland and Irish business competing globally.  This ranking demonstrates the high regard in which IMI is held across industry,” said Sean Dorgan, Chairman of IMI.

Speaking about the FT Rankings announcement, Dr Simon Boucher, CEO of IMI said; “IMI’s inclusion, yet again, in this prestigious global ranking is testament to our commitment to designing and delivering truly innovative learning and development strategies that produce real business results.   We sincerely thank our many corporate clients whose feedback provides the basis for this global ranking.”

IMI has retained this global ranking against a backdrop of increased competition from high profile international business schools, with twelve new entrants joining the rankings this year including major international business schools from Germany, China and the UK.

This year IMI has scored particularly highly on assessment criteria such as international partnerships, ranking ahead of global names such as Harvard Business School, Oxford Said and MIT. Similarly, the post-programme follow up that IMI provides to its clients was ranked higher than that of Stanford Business School, Georgetown and Insead.
