IMI Globally Ranked for Both Open and Customised Executive Education

IMI has become the first Irish executive education provider to be simultaneously listed on both the Customised and Open global rankings, published by the Financial Times.

IMI has retained the prestigious global rankings for the provision of Customised Executive Education for the 10th year in a row, with the Open ranking achieved for the first time in 2018. This means that all aspects of IMI’s executive education are now globally ranked.
The Open Enrolment ranking covers both IMI’s short executive education programmes and also those IMI programmes which are academically validated by UCC. IMI is ranked 78th globally, 40th in Europe and 8th in UK and Ireland for Open Enrolment programmes in 2018. This year has seen IMI adding to this programme portfolio with a new programme for women in leadership, while a suite of three new open programmes aimed at senior business leaders will be launched in Autumn 2018.

Our continued and improving performance in the global rankings is a confirmation of the strides IMI has made over the last number of years on the international stage’ commented Simon Boucher, CEO of IMI. ‘It’s the first time ever an Irish provider has been listed on both the custom and open rankings simultaneously, and means that every aspect of IMI executive education is now globally ranked. This achievement is a testament to the quality of IMI executive education and will be very valuable in growing our presence across Ireland and particularly in international markets, where the Financial Times’s global rankings are recognised as a crucial quality mark.’
The tenth successive year of the Customised Executive Education global ranking is a testament to the quality of customised solutions IMI provides for clients, ranging from senior leadership development programmes to graduate programmes. IMI is ranked 61st globally for the provision of customised executive education, 29th in Europe and 10th in the UK and Ireland.

‘At IMI we focus on the impacts our programmes can have on the professional lives of the participants and their organisation’s bottom-line results’ said Julie Ryan, Head of Custom Solutions, IMI. ‘The fact that the global rankings are based on direct feedback from clients gives re-affirmation of the high-quality standards we hold ourselves up to.’
